Cape Otway Lightstation

Built in 1848, the oldest surviving lighthouse on the Australian mainland is open to the public. Climb up the lighthouse, visit the original lighthouse keepers quarters or the historic Telegraph Station. An educational program known as KIDZONE is available for school groups and gives a fantastic day’s entertainment and learning for students. Guides are available to lead groups around the precinct and describe historical details of life and hardships at the lighthouse.
