Kangaroobie’s unique location is an oasis for environmental science students, giving visitors the chance to observe our dynamic geography and geology systems in action.
We have no less than five diverse natural ecosystems on Kangaroobie including wetlands, an estuary, coastal heath, cool temperate rainforested gullies, and sand dunes.
Kangaroobie’s Matt Bowker is an environmental science teacher and writes study programs to match individual schools’ key learning points.
“We can look at coastal processes, sand dune succession, river siltation, and highly adapted plants and animals.”
Talk with Matt about study plans for your students.
